Every day I find myself yelling
At some moron at a four way stop
Who doesn't seem to be able to count to three
Then there's the guy who can't figure out merging
He's going to make my brain go pop
Accelerate, find a gap, and merge at speed

Why can't you see the havoc that you wreak???

If there is a lot of traffic
You need to make a mental swap
Yeah you're in the slow lane but now so's everyone behind you
But I'm going to share you a tip
And hopefully your driving mistakes will drop
And I really hope from now on I'll never have to remind you

Please pay attention to the havoc that you wreak!!!

Don't leave so many open spaces
And please drive whatever the average pace is
Traffic is a function of linear volume
I shouldn't have to be explaining this
Because to me it's ridiculously obvious
Don't slow anybody else down or you're the problem

It doesn't do a damn bit of good
If you turn your blinker on late
People will accommodate if they know what you're up to
If someone's making a left turn
And your lane is going to make them wait
Slow down a bit, flash your lights, and let them cut through

Otherwise the other lane feels the pain you wreak ...

Also courtesy's a wasted art
When both of you are stopping the flow
You've got to focus your mind on keeping traffic moving
Zipper merge at the very last moment
It might feel wrong but it is right
Jumping in too soon just keeps the flow from improving

And how about getting off your BEEEEEEEEEP phone?

Don't leave so many open spaces
And please drive whatever the average pace is
Traffic is a function of linear volume
I shouldn't have to be explaining this
Because to me it's ridiculously obvious
Don't slow anybody else down or you're the problem

Your mind should be on keeping the way clear for everyone else
And yes, 2 seconds for you to attend to something at a light is WAY too long
Don't get me started on pedestrians ...
Walk behind, move quickly, don't be an ass?

Don't leave so many open spaces
And please drive whatever the average pace is
Traffic is a function of linear volume
I shouldn't have to be explaining this
Because to me it's ridiculously obvious
Don't slow anybody else down or you're the problem
Don't slow anybody else down or you're the problem
Don't slow anybody else down or you're the problem
